MELBOURNE MODEL FOLIOS
An up-to-date photographic folio of images is a must for any serious model. A good folio represents the model's skill and technique, their flexibility and creativity while on a shoot, and of course their appearance and presentation. I offer creative and competitively-priced photographic folios for semi-professional and professional models. I cater to all modelling styles, including but not limited to portraiture, fashion, underwear, glamour and nude.
Location. Photographic folio shoots for models can be shot in Melbourne photographic studios, at your residence, outdoors on location, or by special arrangement, in an inner-Melbourne nightclub. Examine the sample folios below to choose which folio package is most appropriate to your requirements. Shooting time. All folio packages include two full hours of photography plus up to 30 minutes of lighting changes, clothing changes, and hair and make-up touch-ups. Clothing. A variety of well-chosen clothing is essential for a successful model folio shoot. You are encouraged to bring along your own clothing, ranging from casual through to evening wear, from dresses and suits through to underwear. You should bring a selection of heels, and your own accessories such as necklaces, sunglasses, scarves, and so on. Since you are investing in the folio shoot itself, you may even consider acquiring new clothes for the shoot. We have a small wardrobe of dancewear (leotards, leggings, leg warmers and tutus) and underwear sets (corsets, bras, etc) and swimsuits (bikinis and one-pieces), that can be used on a shoot for a small additional fee. Please enquire if you wish to view the available wardrobe. Hair and make-up. Most models are well-practised at applying their own make-up and doing their own hair. It is in your interest to do as much of your hair and make-up as you can before arriving at the shoot to make more time available for photography. Our standard rates do not include a make-up artist; indicative rates are an additional $220 for a professional make-up artist to attend the shoot.	What you get. Photographs from a shoot are provided to you as digital images (JPEG format) on CD. In a standard (two hour) shoot you can expect to receive between 60 and 120 production images. Your image CD will be posted to you within 14 days of the photographic shoot. Additional services include hosting a digital folio on-line for you, as well as website design. Please enquire if interested. Image toning. Images will be selectively toned by the photographer. The example folios are indicative of the extent of colour and contrast adjustments that are routinely made for model folios. Feel free to discuss special requirements (eg. black and white images, high-contrast styling, etc.) with the photographer on the day of the shoot. Extensive addition editing of photographs for a folio will incur additional costs to you. Prints. After you receive your CD you are free to take it to your local photo shop for printing. You may also use the images for any of your online folios. However, we can provide a professional printing service at competitive prices - please enquire at your leisure. Beyond standard photographic prints, we can prepare selected images from your shoot for fine art printing - these prints are made on archival art papers, suitable for professional framing. Art prints of your modelling folio can make special gifts for family. Prices. All prices below include GST. Minors. Models under the age of 18 years must be accompanied at the shoot by a parent or legal guardian. Minors will not be photographed in sheer or revealing clothing under any circumstances.

	Fitness & swimsuit shoots Fitness and swimsuit shoots are best done at the Heidelberg studios, or on location in good weather. West coast beaches (towards and beyond Torquay) are ideal for location swimsuit shoots, while the "Tan", Albert Park and the Port Melbourne - St Kilda foreshore are excellent for fitness shoots. 	Underwear & alternative shoots I shoot underwear and alternative - eg. gothic, grunge, urban - in studios at North Melbourne and Heidelberg, as well as inner city industrial areas, alleyways and laneways. 	Artistic nude shoots Artistic nude shoots are available, provided the shoot will contribute to and develop my art nude folio (ie. exhibition and sale prints).
